The first thing an owner needs to know, however, is that appropriate photo and graphic usage may not be what he or she supposes.

Appropriate use of optimized images can be very effective but may need to be restricted to back pages of your website. A couple of guidelines for images on the web are 1) be choosy - don't use every photo you have; and 2) images must be optimized - digitally compressed as well as visually smaller. Relying on your web professional for advice in this area is crucial.
